In 1994, my dad and uncle started Lymm Driveways with a Transit, a second-hand mini-digger, and a hand-drawn logo. Their first driveway was for our neighbour — £450, 4 days, still looks solid 30 years later.
Today we've got eight crews, £5m of kit, and over 1,800 driveways in the ground across Lymm. But the model hasn't changed: do it properly, stand behind it, look the customer in the eye every year they still park on it.
